As a Care Support Specialist at Priory Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live independently and achieve their goals.
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and caring individual to join our team as a Care Support Specialist. You will work closely with our experienced staff to provide person-centered care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
- Support residents with their daily living needs, including personal care and hygiene
- Encourage participation in activities and hobbies to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
- Assist residents with managing challenging behaviors and provide emotional support
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- GCSEs or equivalent in English and maths
- Experience working in a care setting, preferably with adults with learning disabilities or mental health conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm and patient demeanor, with the ability to remain composed under pressure
- The ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
