Library Activity Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Library Activity Assistant at Burnley Library. The role involves supporting the delivery of youth programmes, including STEAM and Gaming events, and contributing to the development of new project ideas and initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the planning and execution of youth programmes
- Supporting the setup and coordination of activities for children and families
- Contributing to the development of new project ideas and initiatives
As a Library Activity Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in programme delivery, teamwork, and community engagement. You will also have access to training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and confidence.
Required Qualities:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Patient and understanding when interacting with children and families
£18,000 - £22,000 per annum
