Are you passionate about the arts and culture? Do you have experience in gallery curation and/or management? We are seeking a highly skilled Gallery Operations Coordinator to join our team in Danby, North Yorkshire.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Gallery Management: Ensure the gallery is operationally excellent, manage installations, and curate exhibitions that engage a wide range of audiences.
  2. Event Planning: Contribute to our arts and culture partnership programme, develop and oversee a range of art-based workshops, and support efforts to develop links with artists and art organisations.
  3. Community Outreach: Manage volunteer activities and help develop art and culture content for the gallery.
Qualifications and Experience
  • You have experience in gallery curation and/or management, including artist selection and technical appraisal.
  • You have experience working with partners in the arts sector and building new networks.
  • You have proven ability to engage with diverse audiences through arts and cultural initiatives.
  • You have experience of data collection, analysis and evaluation skills related to public engagement.
  • You can work independently and as part of a team.

The salary for this role is estimated at £26,409 - £29,093 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
