About Us

Project Native Informant is a London-based commercial art gallery established in 2013. We represent artists and collectives with a focus on expanded conceptual critique and contemporary painting.

We are seeking an experienced Gallery Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role, with a proven focus on logistics and administration. Expertise in installation, de-installation, and care of artworks is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the gallery's transportation requirements, exhibition and art fair administration, and marketing and communication. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of exhibition and art fair administration, including installation, de-installation, and budgeting.
  • Coordinating inbound/outbound loans and ensuring all paperwork requirements are met.
  • Managing the gallery's artworks and database, including inputting, monitoring, and maintaining records and condition reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisation and communication skills, be adaptable to changing demands and deadlines, and have a problem-solving mindset.

The estimated salary for this role is £32,000 - £37,000 per annum, with a 6-month probationary period. Hours of work will be Tuesday-Friday 10:00-18:00, Saturday 12:00-18:00 during exhibitions, with occasional evenings for openings, art fairs, and special events.
