Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembly Quality Assurance Professional to join our team at GE Grid Solutions. As a member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of complex electronic assembly testing, diagnostics, and maintenance activities for test equipment. Your significant experience in a manufacturing test environment with knowledge of automated test equipment will be essential in this role. You will work closely with the production team to implement continuous improvement initiatives for test processes and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement changes for test equipment to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with production operators to provide training and support for effective equipment usage.
  • Develop and update work instructions, risk assessments, and operator training documents.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing test environment with knowledge of automated test equipment.
  • HNC/HND or Engineering Degree in an electrical/electronic-related discipline.
  • Familiarity with HVDC product testing processes is advantageous.
  • Understanding of IT requirements for test system integration, experience with Ni TestStand/LabVIEW, knowledge of advanced manufacturing methods, and familiarity with ISO standards are beneficial.
  • Ability to work to deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Proficient in English, written and verbal; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.

Salary:$90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
