Senior Radiotherapy Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the isotope and brachytherapy practice in Radiotherapy at UCLH. This will involve working with a large and innovative team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of new treatments and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinating and supporting the isotope and brachytherapy practice in Radiotherapy
- Working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Contributing to the development of new treatments and technologies
- Providing specialist clinical training and undertaking presentations
- Working flexibly in a variety of situations and participating in shift work as required
- BSc in therapeutic radiography or equivalent formal qualification
- Health Profession Council (HPC) registration as a therapy or nuclear medicine radiographer
- Clinical experience in brachytherapy and/or molecular targeted radiotherapy
- Practical experience in planning and delivering a wide range of radiotherapy techniques
- Ability to provide information and support about cancer and communicate highly distressing, sensitive information to patients and relatives/carers
