Job Title: Senior Radiotherapist/Therapeutic Radiographer

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the isotope and brachytherapy practice in Radiotherapy at UCLH. This will involve working with a large and innovative team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of new treatments and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and supporting the isotope and brachytherapy practice in Radiotherapy
  • Working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Contributing to the development of new treatments and technologies
  • Providing specialist clinical training and undertaking presentations
  • Working flexibly in a variety of situations and participating in shift work as required
Requirements:
  • BSc in therapeutic radiography or equivalent formal qualification
  • Health Profession Council (HPC) registration as a therapy or nuclear medicine radiographer
  • Clinical experience in brachytherapy and/or molecular targeted radiotherapy
  • Practical experience in planning and delivering a wide range of radiotherapy techniques
  • Ability to provide information and support about cancer and communicate highly distressing, sensitive information to patients and relatives/carers
