Job Title: Senior Radiotherapy Radiographer

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiotherapy Radiographer to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the isotope and brachytherapy practice in Radiotherapy at UCLH.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in brachytherapy and molecular targeted radiotherapy, with experience in planning and delivering a wide range of radiotherapy techniques. You will be responsible for providing specialist clinical training and undertaking presentations, both within the department and nationally in conferences and workshops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the isotope and brachytherapy practice in Radiotherapy at UCLH
  • Provide specialist clinical training and undertake presentations, both within the department and nationally in conferences and workshops
  • Work flexibly in a variety of situations and participate in shift work as required
  • Provide information and support about cancer, and communicate highly distressing, sensitive information to patients and relatives/carers

Requirements
  • BSc in therapeutic radiography or equivalent formal qualification
  • Health Profession Council (HPC) registration as a therapy or nuclear medicine radiographer
  • Clinical experience in brachytherapy and or molecular targeted radiotherapy
  • Practical experience in planning and delivering a wide range of radiotherapy techniques
