Job Title: Guest Services Assistant

About the Role:

Our Nights Guest Service Assistants play a vital role in ensuring every guest receives a safe and outstanding experience during out-of-hours. Reporting directly to the Guest Service Manager, this team member is part of a dynamic team based at our attractive hotel in Reading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the hotel in achieving all brand and company metrics and objectives.
  • Build and develop relationships with guests, assessing their needs and adapting style and approach accordingly.
  • Ensure all repeat guests, priority members, and VIPs receive recognition and appreciation.
  • Follow SOPs to ensure consistent hospitality for all guests.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about all IHG hotels in your region and promote the hotel, products, and services to all guests.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role and a passion for outstanding Customer Service. The ability to anticipate guests' needs is highly desirable. You will also be comfortable using a range of technology, including MS Office.
