Production Coordinator

We are seeking a meticulous Production Planner to join our team at Tech Connect Group in Farnborough. This role will be responsible for daily and weekly planning within the facility, working closely with the Systems & Planning Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a rolling 6-week production plan to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Manage manufacturing orders through the Bill of Material (BOM), ensuring accurate job profiling and timely completion.
- Collaborate with the Demand team to update sales order 'ship by dates' and ensure alignment with production plans.
- Monitor launch and completion adherence, working with the Operations team to maximize schedule adherence.
- Implement the SIOP planning cycle to ensure effective supply chain management.
- Manage MRP-generated exception messages in Epicor, resolving material shortages and preventing delays to customers.
- Work with the Supply Chain team to identify and resolve material shortages, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Escalate perceived risks and actual non-conformities in real-time, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of planning management and quality control principles.
- Strong IT system use, including Excel and Word skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of the Epicor system.
- Experience in managing internal communications, working cross-functionally to deliver results.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to continuously improve and remain calm under pressure.
