About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Assistant to join our Finance team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, with expertise in using accounting systems and charity-specific accounting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing of income and expenditure, ensuring accurate and timely recording
  • Assisting colleagues with compliance and adherence to financial controls and procedures
  • Managing the processing of all expenditure and payments to the finance system
  • Matching purchase orders and ensuring correct coding and authorization procedures
  • Assisting in processing all income streams to Raisers Edge and the finance system
