About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to delivering person-centred care. You will work closely with our residents to develop and implement individualised care plans, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding, in a safe and respectful manner
  • Follow care plan guidance and company policies and procedures
  • Attend and complete training as required to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Uphold high standards of Positive Behaviour Support in line with policy and practice
  • Develop and maintain a special interest in recovery-based approaches and support for individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health difficulties
  • Visit and coordinate ongoing behaviour monitoring of challenging behaviours
  • Assist in the development of interventions aimed at reducing challenging behaviours
  • Offer individual and group work to individuals receiving services under supervision
  • Facilitate the implementation of Care Plan systems within the homes
