We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated Area Tenancy Manager to join our Housing Management Service in Brent Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our transformation agenda, focusing on improving wellbeing and access to training and development for our staff.

About the Role

As an Area Tenancy Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tenancies for a patch of social tenants or licensees. You will work closely with services across the Council to ensure vulnerable tenants have access to the services they need, and Brent's estates and homes are good quality, safe, and secure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tenancies for a designated patch of social tenants or licensees
  • Work with services across the Council to ensure vulnerable tenants receive necessary support
  • Uphold guidelines set out by the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve housing quality and perception
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of local authority statutory and support services related to housing
  • Awareness of relevant housing legislation and welfare benefits
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills
