About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Area Tenancy Manager to join our Housing Management Service in Brent Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tenancies for a patch of social tenants or licensees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tenancies for a designated patch of social tenants or licensees
  • Work with services across the Council to ensure vulnerable tenants have access to necessary services
  • Ensure Brent's estates and homes are good quality, safe, and secure
  • Uphold guidelines set out by the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023
  • Develop and maintain relationships with tenants, stakeholders, and other Council services
Requirements
  • Knowledge of local authority statutory and support services related to housing
  • Awareness of relevant housing legislation and welfare benefits
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to making a difference in the community
