Job Description

The successful candidate will work as part of the department team under the supervision of registered nurses and clinical teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in the delivery of patient care with empathy and compassion
  • Providing support to registered nurses and clinical teams in ensuring the smooth operation of the ward/department
  • Contribute towards ward/department organization by managing non-medical needs of patients independently
  • Performing basic administrative tasks such as being a receptionist when needed, admitting and discharging patients on EPR, and helping in the filing of medical notes
  • Being involved in risk assessment and ensuring the safety of both patients and staff

Important Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 6 months' experience as a Senior Nursing Assistant within the last 3 years for the NHS
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  3. A caring, empathetic approach to all patients
  4. A proactive and professional work ethic
