About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Secondary Education Tutor to join our team at the Kip McGrath Education Centre in Stirling. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals and develop a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students using the Kip McGrath methodology, which focuses on individualized learning and small group settings.
  • Tutor students in a positive and caring manner, promoting self-esteem and self-worth.
  • Use our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons, minimizing prep time.
  • Be available to commit to every class scheduled, ensuring continuity and consistency for students.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, using strong rapport-building skills.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and goals online, providing regular feedback to parents.
  • Work up to 2-3 sessions a day, Monday to Thursday, and Saturday morning, offering flexibility and convenience.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A teaching degree or be in the final year of your degree.
  • A current PVG or be willing to organize one.
  • A friendly, professional, and personable manner.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • A positive and vibrant personality.
  • Confidence using software and computers.
  • A genuine love for learning and teaching.
  • Reliable, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to teach face-to-face in our Stirling Centre and online as required by management.
