About the Role

We are seeking an experienced secondary tutor to join our team at the Kip McGrath Education Centre in Stirling. As a tutor, you will be responsible for teaching students using our proven methodology, tutoring students in a positive and caring manner, and using our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students using the Kip McGrath methodology
  • Tutor students in a positive and caring manner to promote self-esteem and self-worth
  • Use our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons
  • Be available to commit to every class you are scheduled to teach
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents
  • Keep an accurate record of student progress and goals
  • Provide verbal and written feedback to parents
  • Work up to 2-3 sessions a day (Monday to Thursday) and Saturday morning
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:

  • A teaching degree or in the final year of your degree
  • A current PVG or be willing to organise one
  • A friendly, professional, and personable manner
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Demonstrate a positive and vibrant personality
  • Confidence using software and computers
  • Genuine love for learning and teaching
  • Reliable, high attention to detail, and strong organisational skills
