Job Title: Trade Sales Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Trade Sales Assistant to join our team at Ritz Recruitment. As a Trade Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Branch Manager in delivering excellent customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Duties:
    • Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds customer expectations.
    • Approach customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring they are dealt with promptly and courteously.
    • Process customer orders and queries in a confident and professional manner.
    • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer service, reduce costs, and improve margin.
    • Match customer needs to the best available product, including upselling and managing stock levels.
    • Check off deliveries accurately and promptly, ensuring relevant paperwork is passed on efficiently.
    • Resolve customer issues and enquiries to a satisfactory conclusion.
    • Create effective displays in the showroom, ensuring all products are clearly coded, priced, and well presented.
    • Process customer requirements efficiently and promptly to meet delivery promises.
    • Ensure all promises made to customers are realistic, achievable, and completed.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Be prepared to deputise effectively in the absence of the Branch Manager or Assistant Manager.
