About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Optical Manager to join our team at Asda Opticians. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our optical department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants to deliver high-quality patient service
  • Oversee compliance processes and procedures to ensure regulatory requirements are met
  • Review sales forecasting and department targets to drive business growth
  • Deal with customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Coach and develop team members to improve their skills and performance
Requirements
  • Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
  • Confident in coaching and developing others
  • Able to provide excellent customer and patient care
  • Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets
