We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Process Officer to join our Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) at Derbyshire Constabulary. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the processing of offences recorded by Safety Cameras within the county.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake the viewing and administration of CREST and the processing of all offences recorded by Safety Cameras within the county.
- Assist the department with retrieving, recording, assessment, and evaluation of all offences and correspondence in relation to offences committed.
- Deal with enquiries from staff, partner agencies, and members of the public, and update and interrogate relevant force databases and filing systems.
- Provide limited initial investigation, research, and administrative support to the CREST unit, Operations department, and Derbyshire Constabulary.
- Be responsible for the creation and production of files in relation to offences committed, whereby offenders have failed to comply with sections of the Road Traffic Act and then attend court where necessary and as requested.
- Contribute to a Customer Services role within the Process Team, receiving and dealing with calls from the public, responding to emails, and letters.
- Previous clerical/administrative experience in a busy office environment.
- Experience in recording information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience of managing a high workload and prioritizing multiple competing responsibilities.
- The ability to analyze and interpret information and/or evidence.
- A full-time position, not suitable for part-time, and the holder of a full car driving license.
