Clinical Lead for Paediatric Psychiatry Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a leader in the field of child mental health, we are committed to delivering high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective treatment plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your expertise and experience will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of providing world-class care.
The successful candidate will have:
- A broad range of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, including tier 4 experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and their families
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Able to manage duties under the MHA, including assessment of patients in Place of Safety detained under Section 136
