As a Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Services Specialist, you will join our esteemed team of professionals dedicated to advancing paediatric endocrinology and diabetes care.

About the Role
This fixed-term post (12 months) offers an exceptional opportunity for a clinical fellow to develop expertise in tertiary paediatric endocrinology and diabetes. The successful candidate will work within a busy and progressive team at Birmingham Children's Hospital, contributing to the provision of outpatient services, inpatient care, and medical day care unit support.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in endocrinology and diabetes, including all aspects of tertiary endocrinology and bone disease
- Practical knowledge of paediatric diabetes education and intensive diabetes management
- Perform audit, deliver on CPD, and engage in teaching and clinical research

Requirements
- Eligible for full GMC registration and register or be within 24 months of CCT date
- Minimum 12 months training in Diabetes & Endocrinology for 12-month fellow post
- Previous endocrine/diabetes training (minimum 12 months at secondary level)
- Eagerness to be trained in tertiary endocrinology and diabetes
- Previous personal research experience
