Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced External Business Development professional to join our team at MET Recruitment UK Ltd. As an External Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and target potential new customers in the UK
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target companies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and sales efforts
  • Prepare and present reports on sales activities and results
  • Organize and manage own diary and schedule
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, buyers, and other stakeholders at all levels

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £44,000 per annum
  • Monday to Thursday (8am – 5pm) and Fridays (8am -4.30pm) working hours
  • 20 days + Bank Holidays (Increases with services)
