About the Role

This is a hybrid role that involves preparing for and undertaking DSA needs assessment meetings and completing Needs Assessment Reports for students in Higher Education who are in receipt of Disabled Students' Allowances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Holding a structured meeting with an individual to identify appropriate study and support strategies to facilitate participation in their study activities.
  • Evaluating the suitability of, and offering advice on appropriate hardware, software, assistive technology and other aids for each individual.
  • Producing formal written needs assessment reports in an appropriate format and in accordance with relevant guidance and KPIs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent report writing abilities and attention to detail.
  • An in-depth understanding of relevant Assistive Technology (software and hardware) and its role in addressing challenges across a broad range of disabilities.
  • Adeptness at working to strict KPIs and producing work of excellent quality.
