We are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our forward-thinking school in Islington North London. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education to Year 5 students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.

Year 5 Teacher Role

As a Year 5 Teacher at our school, you will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of Year 5 students.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 5 students in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
