We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team at an Islington primary school.

Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance on Special Educational Needs, working closely with the Deputy Head for Inclusion and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support for students.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of Special Educational Needs policies and procedures
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to provide individualized support for students with special needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A teaching qualification (primary or secondary)
- A SENCO qualification or a strong desire to gain one
- Significant experience working with Special Educational Needs
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- A passion for making a positive impact on children's lives
This role offers a competitive salary (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum), dependent on experience), 5 days a week, and great transport links from East or North London. The school also provides ongoing CPD for all staff, creating opportunities for professional growth and development.
