Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Admin/ICT Tutor to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. As a key member of our education department, you will play a crucial role in educating and rehabilitating adult learners in a prison setting.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Delivering accredited and unaccredited classes in business administration and ICT
  • Conducting outreach work to support learners in their rehabilitation journey
  • Working with learners on a 1:1 basis to provide individualised support
  • Maintaining accurate records of learner progress and achievements

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Good basic general education including GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • A degree or professional qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience in supporting learners re-engaging into education
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one within two years)
