We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our Building Division, supporting our team in delivering lasting impact for our clients.

The Role

As the Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design process, ensuring that all designs are delivered to the highest standards, within budget and timescales.

You will manage and mitigate design risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all designs meet the requirements of the client and all relevant stakeholders.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and Commercial team to ensure that designs are delivered within budget and timescales.

You will also provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on all design-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and coordinate the design process to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  2. Identify and mitigate design risks to ensure client satisfaction and stakeholder engagement.
  3. Collaborate with the Project Manager and Commercial team to ensure design alignment with project objectives.
  4. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on design-related matters.
Requirements
  1. Previous experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry.
  2. Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  3. Experience on Industrial and Commercial projects (Preferred).
