Exciting Opportunity for an HV Design Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled HV Design Manager to join our team at Sustainable Talent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design function and managing change within the Transmission and Distribution sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design function and manage change within the Transmission and Distribution sector
  2. Develop and implement process-driven programmes to drive project forward
  3. Collaborate with industry experts to showcase transferable skills and commitment to the project
  4. Manage and lead a team of design professionals to deliver high-quality results
  5. Develop and maintain knowledge of National Grid procedures, including TP106, TP131, TP135, TP137, TP141, TP153, TP163, TP182, TP184, TP188, TP189, TP191, TP211, TP215, and TP241

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Transmission and Distribution, with a focus on substation design and extension of existing substations
  • Strong programme management skills and ability to drive projects forward
  • Regulated industry experience, with a focus on rail candidates who can showcase transferable skills
  • Commitment to the project and willingness to see things through
  • Ability to manage change and lead design function

What We Offer:
