Job Description

**Job Summary**

Brakes is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities
  • **Role Model Our Company Values**
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth.
  • **Grow and Retain Customers**
  • Work closely with our Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities and ensure a successful handover.
  • **Competitor Analysis**
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor activity and proposals, ensuring we are always offering our customers the best local solutions.
  • **Brand Ambassador**
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market, promoting our award-winning products and services.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering against targets and driving sales growth.
  • **Tenacious and Resilient**
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • **Commercial Acumen**
  • Experience of working in a sales environment, with a strong understanding of commercial principles.
