Job Title: Driver Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Manager to join our team at Govia Thameslink Railway. As a Driver Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a designated group of drivers to deliver a high-performing workforce in line with our specific standards in safety, performance, and customer service expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of drivers to achieve high performance and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement customer service standards to raise the professionalism of drivers across the organization
  • Enhance the on-board experience for customers, resulting in repeat business and higher satisfaction results
  • Drive team performance through excellent engagement and utilize attendance procedures to improve performance
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with Trade Union Representatives
Requirements:
  • Strong people leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
