About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Controller to join our team at the Bamford Collection. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, as well as rolling forecasts and ownership of the 5-year plan.
- Provide leadership and development of the finance team, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize business opportunities and challenges.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with proven experience in a senior financial role within a multi-business unit environment, ideally within the retail and/or hospitality sectors.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in UK GAAP/IFRS.
- Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills.
- Demonstrable experience in managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proactive, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.
