Support Worker for Young People with Additional Needs

Our partner school in Pontefract is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support to young people with severe, complex, or profound and multiple learning difficulties.
This long-term role offers a January start date and opportunities to progress within the organisation.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be working alongside Key Stage 3 and 4 students who have a range of additional needs, including Autism, sensory impairment, challenging behaviour, medical, and physical difficulties.
A key aspect of this role is providing individualised support to help these students make good progress and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Working with students with additional needs, providing emotional and academic support.
- Developing and implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviour.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and adapting plans as necessary.
The estimated salary for this position is £25,250 - £32,691 per annum, depending on current grade, experience, and payroll method.
