Job Summary

This role will play a vital part in supporting the ongoing success of our peer worker offer within our Living Well teams, specifically for individuals with Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) who may attract a diagnosis of 'personality disorder'.

About the Role

As a Peer Support Worker, you will be part of a team that provides high-quality patient services that are clinically safe, evidence-based, and delivered cost-effectively. You will work with a caseload providing peer support to individuals with CEN, ensuring that support is delivered in a person-centred manner, enabling individuals accessing the service and those close to them to be involved in treatment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the provision of high-quality patient services that meet the Trust's Standards.
  • Work with a caseload providing peer support to individuals with CEN.
  • Ensure peer support is delivered in a person-centred manner.
  • Assist individuals to develop support plans.
  • Constructively challenge poor practice.
  • Effectively manage, organise, and prioritise your own workload.
