About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Peer Support Development Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our established Emotion Regulation Pathway (ERP) team, supporting individuals with Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) in Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessment and interventions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
  • Support and enhance the psychological care of individuals with CEN within the Community and Living Well Team.
  • Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions.
  • Contribute to audits, collection of statistics, and development of research projects.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level.
  • Lived experience of mental health services as a recipient of care.
  • Experience of working in the field of patient, public involvement, or improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to act as a role model and demonstrate leadership skills.
