Sales Coordinator Role Overview

The Sales Coordinator is a key role within our team, providing a crucial link between our customers and internal departments. This fast-paced position involves handling customer inquiries, processing sales orders, and supporting the Key Account Manager in developing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing accounts to maintain profitability
  • Deal with incoming customer queries and provide advice and solutions
  • Undertake outbound activity to identify and target new customers
  • Work closely with the external sales team and internal departments
  • Administer sales orders and quotations, ensuring customer delivery dates are met
  • Regularly use our internal CRM system
  • Liaise closely with internal departments such as logistics and procurement

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced internal sales person who can demonstrate a good track record of success in a similarly fast-paced position. The ideal candidate will have a first-class telephone manner, strong administration skills, and be commercially aware and target-driven. Packaging industry experience is highly advantageous but not essential.
