We are seeking an experienced Residential Care Practitioner to join our team in West Midlands. As a key member of our residential care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the home and provide cover when needed
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will require a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, as well as experience working with challenging behaviors and a passion for learning and self-reflection. You must also be willing to work towards and successfully complete a Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years of your appointment.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £26,835 - £29,572 per annum, pro rata, plus a range of benefits including access to our Children's Social Care Academy, quality training and coaching, and a clear career pathway. You will also receive a comprehensive induction and training program, as well as a funded Level 4 qualification in Residential Care.
