We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team at Catshill Village Surgery.

Job Responsibilities- Conducting general nursing duties such as wound care, immunizations, health screening, QOF, ECG recordings, and assisting with minor surgery and coil fittings.
- Administering medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Providing health education and counselling to patients on a variety of health-related topics.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with practice protocols.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
- Managing own workload in a manner that maintains and promotes quality.
- Liaising and supporting the nurse manager on all professional nursing issues.
- Ensuring all items of equipment are maintained in good order and reporting hazards or unsafe equipment.
- Participating in developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Registered Nurse qualification with a valid nursing license NMC.
- Maintain own professional and personal development in accordance with the NMC Code (2008), standards, and professional guidelines.
- Experience in chronic disease management desirable diabetes, respiratory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of practice contracts and SNOMED coding.
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of clinical systems such as EMIS Web, Docman, AccuRx, and ICE.
