About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team on Lickey Ward, a specialist rehabilitation and frailty care ward. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient-centered care to older adults, promoting independence, and supporting patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based clinical care and symptom control to older adults
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver specialist rehabilitation and promote independence
  • Develop and maintain clinical skills in venepuncture, cannulation, IV therapy, and management of syringe pumps
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development through reflection and clinical supervision

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered General Nurse with:

  • RGN/RMN qualification
  • NMC registration
  • Experience gained during pre-registration training
  • Confidence to teach student nurses, patients, carers, and members of the multidisciplinary team
  • Understanding of evidence-based nursing, multidisciplinary working, clinical governance, and audit
