Learning Support Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist school in Ormskirk. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students with additional needs in a classroom setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored learning plans to meet the needs of students with additional needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective strategies to support students with additional needs.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and nurturing approach to supporting students with additional needs.
- A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
