We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Tradewind Recruitment. As a key member of our education support team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of secondary school students.

Your main responsibilities will include providing targeted support to students in all subjects up to GCSE level, assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons, and supporting students one-on-one or in small groups to enhance their understanding and confidence. You will also be required to help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, particularly in English, Maths, and Science, and experience working with secondary school-aged children. A degree qualification is also desirable, with maths, English, science, geography, history, or PE being preferred subjects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will need to engage and motivate students while collaborating with teachers and staff to support individual student needs.

We estimate that the salary for this role will be around £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
