**A specialist provision based in Camden is looking for a Special Needs Learning Support Assistant to support students with PMLD, SLD, Autism and Behaviours that challenge.

The Role**:**In this role you will be supporting students from 16-25 years old who have progressed from SEND Secondary schools across Camden. All students require continuous support throughout the day and you will be working with them on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. Students who attend the provision who all have a range of needs including PMLD, SLD, Autism and behavioural needs. You will be supporting student’s development through activities such as swimming, budgeting, arts and crafts to support sensory needs, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside therapists and implement exercises to support students with physical disabilities. This role will include personal care and feeding support for some students.

The Centre**:**This specialist centre is based in South Hampstead, Camden is part of a larger post-16 London college. The centre currently provides education and care support to around 50 young people aged 16 to 25 with profound and multiple or severe learning difficulties, complex autism and/or physical difficulties. There is a dedicated and experienced management and staff team in place at the centre and they have excellent training and development programmes. The centre operates during term-time only and is easily accessible via public transport.
