Shift Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Lutterworth. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution warehouse.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position that requires a high level of mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise. You will work closely with our customer operations team to ensure that all maintenance schedules are met, and that our site is running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on our site, including electrical and mechanical repairs.
  • Liaise with our customer operations team to ensure that all maintenance schedules are met.
  • Oversee and assume responsibility for any specialist contractors on site, ensuring they work safely and to a high standard.
  • Maintain areas of the site with additional ad-hoc project work, including power, data, and plumbing.
Shift Pattern:

The successful candidate will work a rotating shift pattern, including earlies and lates. This will include:

  • Earlies: Two weeks 06:00-14:15
  • Lates: One week 14:00-22:45
Requirements:
  • Electrically biased, with a strong understanding of mechanical maintenance.
  • Experience within site and automation maintenance, ideally with conveyor systems.
  • Computer literate and comfortable recording activities and updating the engineers on the opposite shift.
Benefits:
  • A base salary of £44k
  • Overtime and on call at enhanced rates
  • 33 days holiday per year (25 + 8 Bank Holiday)
