An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join the Allergy team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exceptional chance to work alongside a multidisciplinary team, providing holistic care and education to children with diseases across the atopic spectrum.


You will be expected to plan, implement, and evaluate care for children undergoing allergy procedures, co-ordinate nursing activity of allergy patients as required, assist the team in managing and developing the allergy nursing service within the hospital, and develop and co-ordinate the allergy nursing service in various settings.


Main Responsibilities
  1. To provide high-quality care for children undergoing allergy procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  2. To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
  3. To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to allergy care.
  4. To participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in allergy nursing.

Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma Level education as Registered Nurse (RN Child or RSCN)
  • Current registration with NMC
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to professional development and willingness to undertake Trust Band 5 competency pathway.
