About the Role
This exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated Paediatric Radiology Department. As a Pediatric Radiographer - Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing high-quality, responsive diagnostic services to children in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities
You will work closely with other departments, using your skills and knowledge to deliver excellent patient care and contribute to the development of the department. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Working as part of a team to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services
  • Participating in on-call/shift-based radiographic services on a rotational basis
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge and skills to ensure patients receive the best possible quality care
  • Contributing to the review and development of X-ray service provision


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • HCPC registration
  • DCR(R) / Degree in Radiography or recognised equivalent
  • Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio including reflective practice
  • Knowledge of radiation protection legislation and health and safety requirements
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
