About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Specialist to join our team at McCarthy Stone's Harvard Place development in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire. As a Relief Care and Support Assistant, you will provide high-quality, individualised support for our residents, assisting with personal care, organising activities, booking appointments, and escorting residents on outings.

Job Summary:
  • Provide excellent care and support to residents
  • Assist with daily living tasks and maintain a safe environment
  • Develop and implement activity plans to promote resident engagement
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  2. Assist with meal preparation, serving, and cleaning up after meals
  3. Organise and participate in recreational activities, such as games, arts and crafts, and outings
  4. Book appointments and arrange transportation for residents
  5. Escort residents on outings and provide companionship
Requirements:
  • Degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassion and empathy towards residents
