Overview

Are you a seasoned commercial professional looking to drive growth across the UK Manufacturing Sector? Do you have a strong understanding of procurement strategies and commercial acumen? We are seeking a Senior Commercial Strategy Manager to join our team and contribute to our major Transformation Programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies for £bn R&D programmes with first-of-a-kind products
  • Deliver Make/Buy Assessments and commercial strategies for new capability requirements
  • Create new alliances or enterprise partnerships to deliver £3-£4bn programmes over 15-year periods

Requirements

  • Commercial Acumen - experienced in translating business needs into commercial strategies and deep understanding of core commercial risks
  • Experience - must have experience of complex commercial strategies in excess of £500m in either construction/infrastructure projects or major complex programmes (e.g. defence or rail projects)
  • Leadership & Influence - must have core skills to produce effective strategy documents, present to C-suite executives, and influence decision-making
  • Data-led - have the ability to review and analyze business and commercial data to create insightful recommendations
