We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Alarm Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high level of service to our customers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and install telecare equipment in customers' homes, ensuring that it is properly configured and functioning correctly.
- Operate the control centre equipment, receiving and responding to emergency calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify the type of emergency and take appropriate action, liaising with other agencies and services as necessary.
- Provide a courteous and professional service to customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders, offering information, advice, and support as required.
- Participate in the operation of the Council's Appraisal Scheme and champion an open culture of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion throughout the council.

Person Specification- Experience of working with vulnerable people in a caring capacity, either in their own home or in a residential setting.
- Experience of social alarm or similar equipment within a control centre or other environment.
- Ability to use modern ICT packages and prioritise emergency calls.
- Understanding of social alarm equipment and provision within care in the community.
