We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at a renowned London museum. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the museum, its visitors, staff, and collection.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide a professional and proactive security service to maintain a safe and secure environment within the museum estate.
- Conduct regular patrols, search bags, and guard areas to prevent and detect security breaches.
- Respond rapidly and effectively to incidents and emergency situations, using your knowledge of security principles and Health and Safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors, answering questions and providing information in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain high levels of security and safety standards, making decisions under pressure and communicating effectively with colleagues and visitors.
Requirements:
- SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential.
- Strong knowledge of security principles and experience in applying them.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and punctuality skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
