Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at a renowned London museum. The successful candidate will possess a SIA Door Supervisor Licence and have a strong understanding of security principles, Health and Safety, and Fire Regulations.
The ideal candidate will be able to maintain exceptionally high levels of security and safety standards, providing a professional and proactive security service to the museum, its visitors, staff, and collection.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safety and security of the museum and its surroundings
- Providing a visible presence and being highly vigilant and aware of surroundings and security issues
- Maintaining a strong knowledge of and experience in applying security principles
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and Fire Regulations
This is a physically demanding role requiring significant amounts of walking, rapid response, and long periods of time spent in an outdoor marquee in all weathers.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
