About the Role

OXBO is seeking an experienced Land Manager to join their team and contribute to the development of solar PV and BESS projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for land assembly and other property-related agreements from initial site identification through to financial close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of land assembly and other property-related agreements for renewable energy projects.
  • Negotiate and secure Heads of Terms, Option and Lease agreements with landowners.
  • Identify and approach landowners to agree rent and other commercial terms.
  • Oversee and manage the drafting and completion of land agreements.
  • Undertake title searches to ascertain property ownership and other rights.
  • Maintain budgets and development expenditure in respect of land assembly activities.
  • Provide support in the identification, feasibility, evaluation, and development of new projects.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including landowners, tenants, and local planning authorities.
  • Assist with land and property transactions in relation to joint venture partnerships and acquisition.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing, negotiating, and securing land and property-related agreements.
  • Proficient in land and real estate transactions and associated legal documentation.
  • Commercially astute with attention to detail and understanding of risk.
  • Excellent business development ability and awareness of potential opportunities.
  • Experience of consultation with stakeholders and developing strong working relationships.
  • Accreditation with a relevant professional institute.
  • Educated to Degree level in a relevant land or property-related discipline.
  • Frequent travel to undertake site visits and meet landowners.
